The Abkhaz national football team is the selection of the best football players from Abkhazia . It is neither a member of FIFA nor UEFA and therefore cannot take part in the World Cup or the European Football Championship .
The team took part in the first CONIFA World Football Cup 2014 in Sweden and finished the tournament in 8th place (out of 12).
