The Abeille Liberté is a French ocean-going salvage tug of the type UT 515, about 80 meters long .

The ship, built in 2005 and sailing under the French flag, serves to ward off danger in the event of an accident. The ship is stationed in Cherbourg .

The Abeille Liberté is one of five emergency tugs in France. There is an almost identical ship, the Abeille Bourbon .
