Evening school

An evening school is an educational institution that specializes in the training and further education of working adults and whose classes predominantly take place in the evenings , sometimes also on Saturdays. These include the types of school night school , evening high school , evening technical schools , evening secondary school and technical school and facilities for the acquisition of the Champion titels. The adult education center can also be counted here.

Some educational institutions in adult education call their course offerings evening college and offer training and further education outside of working hours. This also includes e-learning offers such as CBT and WBT as well as classic distance learning offers .

The main goal is to acquire a higher school leaving certificate or a higher professional qualification . Often an additional project-related qualification is sought.

The form of professional development suits both employers and employees . Usually the employer pays the costs and the employee gives some of his free time . The advantage, especially in the service or manufacturing sector, is that the employee does not have to be absent during working hours.
