The Achensee run is a fun run that has been taking place in Pertisau (municipality of Eben am Achensee ) since 2000 and is one of the most popular landscape runs in Austria . The main route leads around the Achensee . The program also includes a relay run integrated into the main run , a 10 km run as part of the program, which has been held the day before with time measurement since 2009, and various children's runs that also take place the day before. The organizer is the Achensee running team.

route

The start is at the parking lot of the Karwendel mountain railway in Pertisau. On a 23.2 km long course, the Achensee is circled in an anti-clockwise direction. The first 14 km from Pertisau to Achenkirch lead over largely flat asphalt and gravel paths, after which you return to Pertisau via a profiled and challenging trail above the western shore of the lake, where the destination is at the fishing estate.
