Adair José Guimarães

Adair José Guimarães (born June 16, 1960 in Mara Rosa , Goiás state ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Formosa .

Life

Adair José Guimarães was ordained a priest on December 21, 1986 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 27, 2008 Bishop of Rubiataba-Mozarlândia . The former bishop of Uruaçu , José da Silva Chaves , donated him episcopal ordination on May 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were José Carlos de Oliveira CSsR , Bishop Emeritus of Rubiataba-Mozarlândia, and Messiah dos Reis Silveira , Bishop of Uruaçu. As a motto he chose Fiat Voluntas Tua .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Formosa on February 27, 2019. The inauguration took place on June 1 of the same year.
