Adam Bartholomew

Adam Bartholomew (* 1505-1510 in Mattsies ; † after 1570) was the Electoral Palatinate court preacher and pastor in Bretten and Ulm .

He was a fellow student of Ottmar bar in 1530 in Heidelberg to Magister PhD , was around 1,533 preachers in Aschaffenburg , from 1534 to 1538 in Bruchsal and 1539-1541 or 1542 pastor in Bretten . In 1543 he came to the court in Neuburg an der Donau as a preacher for Count Palatine Ottheinrich , where he was also superintendent . From 1546 to 1549 he was court preacher to Elector Friedrich II , after which he was pastor in Ulm until 1554 . He can then be traced back to Munich as a preacher until 1571.
