Adam Berti (born July 1, 1986 in Oshawa , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League since 2006 and plays for their farm team , the Rockford IceHogs , in the American Hockey League .

Career

Adam Berti began his career as a hockey player in Canada's top junior league, the Ontario Hockey League , where he was active for the Oshawa Generals and Erie Otters from 2002 to 2006 . During this period he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2004 in the third round as a total of 68th player by the Chicago Blackhawks .

For their then farm team , the Norfolk Admirals , he played in the 2006/07 season in the American Hockey League . In the following season, the attacker made his debut for the Blackhawks in the National Hockey League , for which he remained pointless and punished in two games. He spent the rest of the season with their new AHL farm team, the Rockford IceHogs , and the Pensacola Ice Pilots from the ECHL . In the 2008/09 season Berti was mainly for the ECHL teams Fresno Falcons and Gwinnett Gladiators on the ice.

International

For Canada , Berti took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2004 , where he finished fourth with his team.
