Loomis made his debut in the Continental Cup of Nordic Combined on February 6, 2010 in Eisenerz . In a Gundersen competition on the normal hill with a subsequent cross-country skiing distance of ten kilometers, he finished 49th. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Erzurum , his best result was eighth place in the team competition with Michael Ward , Erik Lynch and Clifford Field. On March 9, 2013, he joined the Finnish Lahti for the first time at a competition at the World Cup Nordic Combined on. In the team sprint he achieved together with Bill Demong space 16.
