Adam Pitthan

Adam Pitthan (born October 7, 1824 in Zotzenheim ; † January 2, 1898 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( Freinn ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Adam Pitthan was the son of the farmer Adam Pitthan and his wife Anna Elisabeth, nee Hangen. Pitthan, who was Protestant, was a farmer in Zotzenheim and married Katharina nee Hepp.

From 1880 to 1887 and again from 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 3 / Wöllstein . Pitthan was also the mayor of Zotzenheim.
