Ludwig Baum (born February 7, 1800 in Fürfeld , † after 1871 ) was a German politician , mayor of Fürfeld and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Life

Ludwig Baum was the son of the farmer Andreas Baum and his wife Susanne Maria née Arnold. On August 19, 1827, Ludwig Baum, who was a Protestant denomination, married Elisabeth Margaretha, born Lahr , in Fürfeld . He worked as a farmer in his hometown.

Ludwig Baum was mayor of Fürfeld from 1845 to 1871. In the 15th and 16th electoral terms (1856–1862) he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the constituency Rheinhessen 2 / Sprendlingen-Wöllstein .
