Josef Brunck

Franz Josef Brunck (also: Brunk ) (* March 7, 1787 in Winterborn ; † October 21, 1848 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a liberal Hessian politician and participant in the Heidelberg Assembly , member of the preliminary parliament and the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy Hessen .

Josef Brunck was the son of the mayor Ulrich Brunck and his wife Anna Maria née Wegehenkel (also: Wehenkel). Josef Brunck married Eleonore Johanetta nee Librich (1792–1873) on March 3, 1812. Their daughter Maria Anna married Bernhard Hembes in Ober-Olm . Josef Brunck was a farmer in Fürfeld .

Brunck's nephews are the members of the Reichstag, Moritz Bolza and Ulrich Brunck , and the entrepreneur Heinrich von Brunck .

politics

Josef Brunck was mayor in Fürfeld. In 1818 he became a member of the Rhineland Hesse Provincial Council . From 1837 he was Vice President of the Agricultural Association for Rheinhessen. In the March Revolution he was a participant in the Heidelberg Assembly and a member of the Pre-Parliament and the Fifties Committee ( Deutscher Hof parliamentary group ).

In the 3rd to 11th electoral term (1826-1848) he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the electoral district Rheinhessen 3 / Wöllstein . Member of the Frankfurt National Assembly from May 18, 1848 until his death on October 21, 1848 as a member of the 12th constituency of Hesse-Darmstadt in Bingen ; joined the left-wing liberal faction Donnersberg .

Friedrich Jacob Schütz became his successor in the Paulskirche assembly .
