Bernhard Hembes

Franz Bernhard Hembes (born November 20, 1818 in Ober-Olm ; † November 23, 1892 in Mainz ) was an oil miller and politician.

Bernhard Hembes was the son of the landowner Bernhard Hembes, who was mayor of Ober-Olm from 1827 to 1835, and his wife Margaretha nee Schmitt. Bernhard Hembes, who was a Catholic, married Maria Anna, the daughter of Josef Brunk .

Bernhard Hembes lived as an oil miller in Ober-Olm.

In the 21st electoral term (1872-1875) he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the estates he represented the constituency Rheinhessen 8 / Ober-Olm . In the Chamber he represented liberal / conservative positions.
