Adolph Pitthan

Johann Adolph Friedrich Pitthan (also Adolf ) (born June 10, 1847 in Wöllstein ; † August 12, 1922 ibid) was a Hessian landowner and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Adolf Pitthan was the son of the businessman Johann Friedrich Pitthan and his wife Christina, née Hofmann. Pitthan, who was a Protestant, was a landowner and merchant in Wöllstein and married Margaretha, born Diehl, on October 25, 1870 in Wöllstein.

From 1889 to 1910 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 3 / Wöllstein . He was an alderman in Wöllstein.
