Friedrich Jakob Schott

Friedrich Jakob Schott (also Friedrich Jacob Schott ; born January 22, 1871 in Uffhofen ; † June 8, 1944 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( NLP , DVP ) and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse and the Landtag of the People's State Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Friedrich Jakob Schott was the son of the farmer Friedrich Schott and his wife Margaretha, née Lawall. Schott, who was of Protestant faith, was married to Anna Katharina, nee Maus. He worked as a farmer in Uffhofen.

Schott joined the National Liberal Party politically in the Empire and the DVP in the Weimar Republic. He was mayor of Uffhofen and from 1911 to 1918 a member of the second chamber of the state estates for the constituency Rheinhessen 3 / Wöllstein . From 1921 to 1931 Schott was again a member of the state parliament in Darmstadt.
