Adam Szal (born December 24, 1953 in Wysoka , Subcarpathian Voivodeship , Poland ) is a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Przemyśl .

Life

The Archbishop of Przemyśl, Ignacy Tokarczuk , ordained him a priest on May 31, 1979 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Lavellum and auxiliary bishop in Przemyśl on December 18, 2000 . The Archbishop of Przemyśl, Józef Michalik , donated him episcopal ordination on January 14, 2001; Co- consecrators were Stefan Moskwa , auxiliary bishop in Przemyśl, and Edward Eugeniusz Bialoglowski , auxiliary bishop in Rzeszów . As a motto he chose Gloria Tibi, Trinitas .

On April 30, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Przemyśl. The inauguration took place on May 21 of the same year.
