Adele Paasch (born June 16, 1868 in Barmen (now part of Wuppertal ), † July 7, 1937 in Potsdam ) was a German sculptor and medalist .

Life

Adele Paasch was born in 1868 as Adele Emilie Hillringhaus. At the Berlin Art School she studied anatomy with Maximilian Schäfer . She took sculpture lessons in the studios of Robert Toberentz and Rudolf Siemering . This was followed by a specialization in portraits, especially busts , medal portraits and portrait reliefs.

In October 1885 she married the Privy Medical Councilor Richard Paasch and had two children. In 1910 the family lived at Wilhelmstrasse 22 Berlin.
