Adelheidstrasse 12 (Quedlinburg)
The house Adelheidstrasse 12 is a listed villa in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1905 on a section of the street in which Adelheidstrasse makes a small bend. The architect was Max Schneck from Quedlinburg . A semicircular stair tower, which still has lead glazing , which has a Chinese -like design in the style of chinoiserie , is striking . There is a risalit on the street side and a corner bay on the south corner . The facade was designed in Art Nouveau forms with floral, graphic, and sometimes carpet-like decorations.
The enclosure of the front garden takes up the design of the house. Immediately to the north is the also listed building at Adelheidstrasse 12a .
