Adolph Cnyrim

Adolph Philipp Heinrich Friedrich Wilhelm Cnyrim (born August 18, 1800 in Kassel , † March 7, 1876 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German civil servant and politician .

Life

Cnyrim studied 1817-1821 jurisprudence at the University of Marburg and the University of Göttingen . In Marburg he was a member of the Corps Hassia. He then worked in the judicial service in Marburg, most recently as a senior justice adviser. In 1846 the University of Marburg awarded him an honorary doctorate . A year later he moved to the Reichspostdienst as a General Postal Directorate .

Of 18 May 1848 to 30 May 1849 he was a deputy for the 7th Hessian constituency Ziegenhain in the Frankfurt National Assembly . There he belonged to the moderate fraction of the Württemberger Hof and was a member of the Imperial Deputation .

In 1858 he became general post director at the general post office in Frankfurt and retired in 1866.
