Adolf Friedrich von Rochow (born December 2, 1758 in Neustrelitz , † February 9, 1813 in Berlin ) was a royal Prussian chamberlain and landowner on Stülpe .

Life

He was a member of one of the oldest aristocratic families in Brandenburg and the fourth son of Adam Ernst II von Rochow (1705-1759), landlord on Stülpe and district administrator of the Luckenwalde district , and his third wife Juliane Eleonore von Voss-Gievitz (born March 15, 1734 ; † November 6, 1806). Adolf Friedrich's first marriage was Henriette Karoline von Hake-Selbelang . His second marriage was on January 31, 1790 at Gut Stülpe Luise Charlotte von Wakenitz (* December 21, 1755, † June 10, 1831 in Berkholz near Schwedt / Oder ). The latter marriage resulted in a daughter and a son. The son and heir Rochus (* February 9, 1797, † December 6, 1819) made it to the rank of lieutenant in the 2nd Leibhusar Regiment and died unmarried.

Adolf Friedrich, in turn, had become a co-owner of Stülpe himself. Co-heirs were his older half-brothers Ernst Wilhelm von Rochow (1743–1773) and Friedrich Ludwig von Rochow- Plessow (1745–1808). By drawing lots in 1760, Adolf Friedrich became the sole owner of Stülpe and its accessories. From 1770 he was a pupil at the Brandenburg Knight Academy and then studied in Halle (Saale) . As a landlord, he lived in the new Stülper manor house built by his father before 1754 and was also active as a client on site. So Adolf Friedrich was a wealthy landowner on a Vorwerk a shepherd house, right in Stülpe a new forest home and a new school building, on the Golmberg a two-storey summer house with tower and room for servants and Settled at the beginning of Erbantritts a new Patronatskirche built.
