Adolf Wala

Adolf Wala (born May 18, 1937 in Drnholec (Dürnholz), South Moravia ) is chairman of the board of the Finanzmarktbeteiligung Aktiengesellschaft and held various managerial positions for the Oesterreichische Nationalbank .

Education and professional career

Wala graduated from the commercial academy of the Viennese merchant class , initially worked at the Creditanstalt-Bankverein and in 1965 began his service at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank . From 1988 to 1998 he was its general director and from 1998 to 2003 its president.
