Adolph Klett

Adolph Klett (born April 17, 1818 in Urach , † September 11, 1880 in Marbach am Neckar ) was an Oberamtmann in Württemberg .

Life

Adolph Klett was the son of a mayor and attended the Latin school in Urach. From 1832 to 1840 he worked in the Urach administrative office. From 1840 to 1847 he studied law and criminal sciences in Tübingen , where he interrupted his studies from 1842 to 1844 due to an illness. In 1847 he passed the first and in 1849 the second higher service examination. Adolph Klett began his professional career in 1848 as an actuary administrator at the Urach regional office and as an assistant to the government of the Black Forest district in Reutlingen. From 1850 to 1860 he was senior actuary at the Ludwigsburg Oberamt and from 1860 to 1861 secretary in the Ministry of the Interior in Stuttgart. In 1861 he became a senior official at the Vaihingen district office , and in 1866 he moved to the Marbach district office . He died in active service in 1880.

In 1874 Adolph Klett was awarded the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Frederick .
