Adrián Gunino , full name Adrián Javier Gunino Duque , (born February 3, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

society

The 1.67 meter tall defensive player Gunino was in the squad of the first division club Danubio from 2008 to 2009 . There he completed 16 first division games. He then moved to the neighboring country of Argentina to join the Boca Juniors , for whom he played a league game between mid-2009 and 2010. With the Argentines it was used for the first time as part of the Audi Cup against AC Milan. He then played a friendly match against LASK Linz for 45 minutes. He then celebrated his competitive debut against the Newell's Old Boys , when he came on after 20 minutes for the injured Hugo Ibarra and subsequently delivered a disastrous performance that built a future for him at the Boca Juniors. Coach Alfio Basile only used him again in a friendly against San Lorenzo in the South American summer 2010. In this game Gunino promptly scored an own goal and had to leave the field at halftime. In the 2010/11 season he played after a change on loan in June 2010 for the French club FC Toulouse . There he played 29 league games. He didn't score a goal. In August 2011, after returning to his home country, he joined the Club Atlético Peñarol . This was followed by a half series at Fénix in 2012. Then the right-back was in Spain with Almeria under contract, to which he was awarded in July 2012 with a purchase option of an estimated 500,000 euros on the part of Fénix. He was signed as a replacement for Michel who had migrated to Atlético Mineiro . There he completed 23 games in the Segunda División in the 2012/13 season and rose with his club to the top division. He then returned to Uruguay, but the Spaniards were interested in a new loan or a firm commitment. After the transfer period ended without any further loan from Almería, there were reports that he was now playing for Fénix. In 2014 he was loaned to the Spanish club Córdoba CF , where he made his league debut on March 2, 2014 in the game against Girona. By the end of the 2013/14 season, depending on the sources, it played 14 times (plus four relegation games) or 18 times in the Adelante League . In the 2014/15 season, which ended his club bottom of the table and thus relegated, he was used 23 times (no goal) in the Primera División and twice (no goal) in the Copa del Rey . In late September 2015 he rejoined Fénix. In the Apertura of the 2015/16 season, he completed two top division games (no goal). He was last in the matchday squad on November 28, 2015, after which no further activity has been recorded for him.
