Adrian Brunner (born October 16, 1987 ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Kloten in the National League B since 2018 . His older brother Damien Brunner is also a professional ice hockey player.
Career
Adrian Brunner began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth division of the Kloten Flyers , for whose professional team he made his debut in the National League A in the 2006/07 season . In his rookie year he remained pointless in four games and received two penalty minutes. In parallel, he played ten games for the Swiss U-20 national ice hockey team in the National League B . From 2007 to 2009 the center ran for HC Ajoie in the NLB, where he developed into a leading player within the team. Then he was also on the ice for HC Ambrì-Piotta in the NLA for two years . In the 2011/12 season he reached the championship finals with SC Bern , but lost to the ZSC Lions in this with his team .
For the 2012/13 season Brunner was signed by the NLA participant SCL Tigers . For the following season the striker was signed by EHC Olten from the National League B. After two seasons in Olten, he signed a contract with Hockey Thurgau in March 2015 , where he played 131 games for the Eastern Swiss in 3 seasons. Since 2018 Brunner has been playing again for his training club, the EHC Kloten .
