Adrian Rawlins (born March 27, 1958 in Stoke-on-Trent , England ) is a British actor .

life and career

Born in 1958, Adrian Rawlins is the son of Mavin and Edward Rawlins. He attended schools in Oxford and Tonbridge . He then graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London .

He played, among others, James Potter , the father of Harry Potter , in the novel adaptations of the same name. In Lars von Trier's film Breaking the Waves he played a doctor, in Lone Scherfig's Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself he played a librarian whose brother tries to take his own life.
