Adrián Vallés (born June 3, 1986 in Teulada , Alicante province , Spain ) is a Spanish racing driver .

Life

He had a strong relationship with motorsport even as a child. He grew up between tires, engine oil and helmets, as his father owns a kart track in Teulada. Not only that reminds of Michael Schumacher , also his early successes (at the age of 9 he won the “Cadet KLC Comunitat Valenciana”, the “Open Ford” and the “Christmas International”), just like the Formula 1 record world champion from Kerpen Adrián's career also went up steeply, as he also beat his older opponents at an early age and brought in one victory after the other.

In 2001 he decided to get into formula racing. The competition and the car were now different than before, but the results remained the same: third place in the overall ranking of the Spanish Formula Toyota 1300 Championship (Spanish Formula 3).

2004 was a very important year for him because he had the opportunity to drive in a team with today's Formula 1 racing driver Heikki Kovalainen . You were in the Pons Racing Team in the World Series by Nissan and Adrián was named “Sensational Driver of the Year”. In 2005 the series was renamed Formula Renault 3.5, and Adrián promptly took second place in the overall standings behind Robert Kubica .

In 2006 Adrián Vallés started with the Campos Racing team in the GP2 series . He finished 18th in the drivers' championship. On September 19, 2006 he tested for the first time in a Formula 1 car for the former MF1 Racing Team . On January 30, 2007, Spyker F1 announced that it had signed Adrián Vallés as a test driver.

In 2008 Vallés started for the Fisichella Motor Sport team in the GP2 Asia series and reached 7th place overall. In the current GP2 season, Vallés competed for the Fisichella team in the first two races of the GP2 series in Barcelona . From the second race weekend in Istanbul , he drove for the BCN Competición team as the successor to Paolo Maria Nocera .
