Adrien Petit (born September 26, 1990 in Arras ) is a French road cyclist.

Sports career

Adrien Petit won a stage in the junior class at Keizer der Juniores Koksijde in 2008 and was third in the Chrono des Nations . The next year he won a stage at Essor Breton. In 2010 Petit rode for the French cycling club CC Nogent sur Oise . Here he won the one-day race Bordeaux-Saintes, a stage in the Tour de Normandie , a section of Les Boucles de l'Artois and two stages in the Tour de l'Eure et Loire. At the end of the year he drove for the Professional Continental Team Cofidis as a stagiaire . He stayed with this team until 2015, then moved to Direct Énergie .

In 2011, Petit won silver in road racing at the U23 World Championships . In 2013 he won a stage of the Gabonese cycling race La Tropicale Amissa Bongo and in 2014 Tro Bro Leon . In 2015 he won the prologue of the Tour of Luxembourg . In 2016 he won three stages as well as the overall ranking of the Tropicale . After winning a stage of the Tour des Hauts-de-France and the Grand Prix de la Somme in 2017, he won the traditional Paris – Troyes race in 2018 .
