Ady Zehnpfennig (born February 17, 1949 in Kerpen , actually Adam Zehnpfennig ) is a German musician ( electronic organ ) as well as music producer , arranger and composer .

Life

Ady Zehnpfennig, who had been taking accordion lessons since he was ten , founded a trio (with his brother) in the mid-1960s - after joining various line-ups - in which he played the Hammond organ . At the end of the 1960s he completed an apprenticeship as a music dealer in Cologne .

After a short episode as a professional musician in the night club , he began to give presentations and concerts as a freelance for various organ manufacturers. During this time he began working as an arranger, studio musician and music producer for various small productions, which ultimately led to the establishment of his own recording studio and the "Azure" music production. From 1981 various instrumental productions for the companies RCA , EMI Electrola , Phonogram and Topsound / Munich were created under his name and under the pseudonym "Andy Dimes".

With the emergence of the " Grand Prix of Folk Music ", the first tracks were created with the singer Bianca , which then culminated in the great successes "Die Rosen der Madonna" and "Hörst Sie die Blocken von Stella Maria" (as co-author and Arranger - Text: Georg Martin Lange )

In addition to music production, he began working as an orchestra conductor and composer and music producer for various television programs such as "Die goldene Stimmgabel" ( SWR and ZDF ), " Your mission please ", the "Summer Hit Festival" and the "Welthungerhilfe gala evening ( Superhitparade) - all with Dieter Thomas Heck . (ZDF) Until his withdrawal from ZDF at the end of 2007, almost all of his music productions were made by Ady Zehnpfennig, in which many German and foreign performers were guests in the "Azure" studio.
