Bianca (singer)

Bianca (real name: Herlinde Grobe , born October 5, 1948 in Hausen near Offenbach ) is a German singer and composer of popular hits . She is a professed Christian and is best known for her songs with religious content.

The artist appears as a singer under the name Bianca and as a composer under her real name Herlinde Grobe. She writes the lyrics of the songs under the pseudonym Sandra Mareike .

Life

Bianca played the accordion as a child and sang in a children's choir. She received classical dance training and eventually became a fine carpenter . When she was fifteen, she tried her hand at being a pop singer. Together with Thomas Fritsch she published the title You weren't different . In the 1970s she sang a. a. in Christian musicals (including the role of Lydia in the Paulus Oratorio by Siegfried Fietz in 1973 ). Also in 1973 she recorded the theme song Radio Luxemburg wishes "Guten Morgen" for the Happy Alarm Clock from Radio Luxemburg . She also sang the chorus in his hit Rocky with Frank Farian (also in Spring over your shadow, Tommy and It shouldn't lie with me ). In 1977 Farian produced the single The Boy I Can Never Forget for Herlinde .

In 1986 she began her career as a singer and composer. She composed two titles ( songs from the mountains and magic lake ) for the Grand Prix of Folk Music , which she initially sang herself. In the competition, the titles were then sung by Heino and Uschi Bauer . Heino's title reached position 12, Uschi Bauer retired early. At the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1989 she was again represented with two titles composed by her. She is divorced and has two daughters.
