Life

Rodrigo Vera, later known primarily as the Aero Star, made his professional debut in 2003 in the Mexican league Asistencia Asesoría y Administr Chiva Rayada and Nino de Oroación (AAA), where he initially competed under the name El Acuatico . He was trained by Gran Apache and Abismo Negro. Later he wrestled without a mask as El Chamagol and formed a tag team with Chiva Rayada and Nino de Oro, which was allowed to defeat Los Diabolicos (Ángel Mortal, Mr. Condor and Gallego) at the major event Guerra de Titanes . In 2004 he received a new ring personality named Chiva Rayada II and together with the original Chiva Rayada formed a kind of gimmick football team based on Deportivo Guadalajara . Other wrestlers played under the mask, so it cannot be traced which matches he played, but what is certain is that he appeared several times between 2004 and 2006 while he was still in training.

After five years he was granted his own ring personality and he was renamed Aero Star, received a new mask and a new gimmick. It had its debut on December 20, 2006. It was introduced as the "last creation" of the recently deceased AAA founder Antonio Peña , which was actually true. Peña, Fernando Fuentes and Aero Stars father, also a wrestler, had designed the outfit. He made a name for himself as a newcomer with his risky high-flying moves and joined a number of new wrestlers as Real Fuerza Aérea (allusion to the Royal Air Force ). These included Laredo Kid , Pegasso , Rey Cometa and Super Fly , among others . In 2007 Aero Star made his pay-per-view debut at Verano de Escándalo , where he lost to Alfa, Pirata Morgan , Faby Apache and Mini Chessman along with Rey Cometa, Estrellita and Octagoncoito . This was followed by an appearance at Guerra de Titanes in 2007. In 2008 he entered the Rey de Reyes tournament, but was eliminated in the first round.

On August 8th, Aero Star won the second Alas de Oro tournament. Through spectacular action, such as jumping from a 20 foot high lighting. During this time he developed into one of the stars of AAA and won the AAA World Tag Team Championship with Drago and the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship with Faby Apache . He also won the Copa Antonio Peña 2010. He had feuds with Billy Boy, Super Fly and Sexy Star during this time . In 2011 he was also allowed to compete with Jack Evans as a representative of the AAA in the Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH in the Nippon TV Cup Jr. Heavyweight Tag League .

In 2015, Aero Star started in the television series Lucha Underground . In the first season he had a feud with Drago. The two had a best-of-5 streak that Aero Star lost. At the same time, he started a career at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he lost to Brian Cage at the 2015 Battle of Los Angeles , and Chikara , where he won the King of Trios tournament together with Drago and Fénix . In the second season of Lucha Underground (2016) he became Drago and Fénix Lucha Underground Trios Champion together , but lost the title again in season 3 when it was pinned by his own team partner.
