The aforms2web solutions & services GmbH is a software company based in Vienna , Austria , and provider of forms solutions in e-government and e-business range. The company was founded in 2007 and claims to be the Austrian market leader for electronic forms. Due to the partnership with Federal Procurement (BBG), Austrian administrations can request aforms2web products and services via their online shop.

history

The aforms2web company was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of ANECON Software Design und Beratung GmbH and forms2web communications GmbH, a company of dpi Holding GmbH. The managing directors Peter Marvin Behrendt and Kurt Waldherr run the company, which has been operational since January 16, 2007.

Products

aforms2web develops and operates form solutions in the areas of e-government and e-business. The company's range of services extends “from print know-how to online forms , through form design to programming and technical integration of form systems”.

In addition to the implementation, commissioning and maintenance of form systems, aforms2web offers its customers strategic advice on form management, standard conformity and uniform form design as well as the optimization of application processes .

The aforms2web software products include the AFORMSOLUTION (AFS) form server, form folders, AFS application mailbox, AFS form test, print form generator and various additional solutions. Form software makes it possible to submit applications via the Internet, which facilitates the electronic exchange of documents between the administration and the citizens.

The AFS forms are based on a modular principle and can be defined once and generated for different channels (online, mobile, print).

Accessibility

The AFS forms also comply with the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) at the highest level (AAA) for the design of barrier-free Internet offers. The forms are therefore also for people with u. a. Visual impairment, deafness, photosensitivity or even cognitive limitations can be used. It also generally makes the forms more user-friendly. Since 2018, the IT company has been the holder of the "Access for All" (-AA-) certificate from the independent foundation for accessible websites in Switzerland. The certificate is based on the international guidelines of WCAG 2.0.

signature

With the signature components MOA (modules for online applications for server signature, signature verification and identification) and the online signature environment MOCCA made available by the Austrian Federal Chancellery as open source software, AFS can provide a free PKI environment. AFS forms can be signed with the Austrian citizen card or the mobile phone signature or their users can be identified. AFS also supports identification with lisign / lilog and application signature with lisign. Both technologies of the Liechtenstein national administration. AFS forms can also use Swiss signature technology ( SuisseID ).

Style guide for e-forms

The AFORMSOLUTION forms correspond to the Austrian style guide for e-government forms and the specifications for online dialogues. These define a uniform layout and uniform behavior for web forms of public administrations, regardless of the authority with which they are introduced.

Austria

Aforms2web customers include ministries, state governments, cities and municipalities as well as downstream administrative organizations. Five of the nine Austrian federal states ( Burgenland , Carinthia , Upper Austria , Salzburg , Styria ) use the aforms2web software for their e-government form solutions. Austrian universities, such as the University of Linz and the medical universities of Vienna and Innsbruck , are also among the customers of aforms2web. This makes the company the Austrian market leader in the field of electronic forms for public administration. In May 2016, aforms2web was able to win over the Austrian Federation of Social Insurance Institutions after an award procedure by the social security chip cards Betriebs- und Errichtungsgesellschaft mbH (SVC). This means that the form servers are used by all Austrian social security agencies. The Federal Monuments Office for Funding Orders also benefits from the form service.

Switzerland

The form solution from aforms2web, AFORMSOLUTION, is used in the Swiss cantons of Zug , Schwyz and Solothurn and the city of St. Gallen .

Liechtenstein

The Liechtenstein State Administration uses AFORMSOLUTION to offer over 350 online forms. These range from the simple application to the highly specialized building application solution and a single contact person according to the EU service directive . In 2012, Liechtenstein achieved 14th place in the United Nations' global e-government development index . In the United Nations E-Government Survey 2010 report , progress is attributed to significant improvements in the area of ​​online services.
