Aksel Hennie (born October 29, 1975 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian actor , director and screenwriter . He was best known for his leading role in headhunters . Hennie played the leading role of the same name in the film Max Manus , which tells the story of the resistance fighters in Germany-occupied Norway. The film is one of the most elaborate films ever made in all of Northern Europe . From 2009 to February 2013 he was in a relationship with the Norwegian singer Tone Damli .

Career

Hennie received his acting training at the Oslo State Theater School and since then has played several leading roles, including at the Norwegian State Theater . In 2006 he played Shakespeare's Hamlet at the New Oslo Theater and, from 2009 to 2010, the role of Oswald in TanGhost, which is based on Ibsen's Ghosts .
