Brief content
During the production of the BR series hit "Dahoam is Dahoam", puzzling mishaps accumulate: in the setting village of Lansing, shoots are manipulated, props exchanged, and the actors behave even more strangely than usual. There are also indications of financial irregularities. The TV boss (Christoph Süß) puts the dashing Dr. Dr. Georg Spiess (Stefan Murr) called in as an internal special investigator to clear up the processes. Spiess quickly takes on the whole team, which includes the impulsive producer Frank Kowalski (Stefan Lehnen), the agile author Maximilian von und zu Dachsbach (Maximilian Pfnür) and the popular production assistant Cilli Dörfler (Ina Meling). The quirky actors and the riddle-speaking doorman (Michael A. Grimm) also alienate the "double doctor".
When Spiess pursued nightly movements on the television grounds, he was knocked down by an unknown person. No sooner has he recovered than he finds a property manager who has promised him a file with clues, dead in an open grave in the Lansing TV cemetery. A cranky commissioner (Sebastian Bezzel), who obviously doesn't want to get his hands dirty, officially declares it an accident. Spiess continues to investigate - and soon gets on the trail of an almost unbelievable conspiracy.
Episode 1: Think oiwei dro, what comes from it
The television boss sends his best special investigator, Dr. Dr. Georg Spiess, to the television village of Lansing to look for potential savings. Spiess moves into an office on the set of the series "Dahoam is Dahoam", researches irregularities and thus comes into conflict with the producer Frank Kowalski, who runs "his" series in the manor style. The ever-popular production assistant Cilli and the slick author Maximilian von und zu Dachsbach promise Spiess support - but when he follows a mysterious torchlight that night, he is struck down with a board by an unknown hand.
Episode 2: roll pretzels, add white sausages
Supervised by Cilli, Spiess wakes up in his office on the set of "Dahoam is Dahoam". Roaming around the site, he disrupts filming, which leads to a violent conflict with producer Kowalski. Spiess tries to make sense of the events of the previous night. Dachsbach tells him that Kowalski is tricking his accounts. The prop master implores Spiess to meet him at the cemetery set in the evening - he has to give him a USB stick with secret information about what is going on in Lansing. When Spiess comes to the agreed place, he finds the prop master next to a grave - with a broken neck.
Episode 3: Take care, live longer
The inspector tells Spiess that the death of the prop master is officially classified as an accident. But Spiess finds the USB stick hidden by the prop master. From the gatekeeper - who once played in "Dahoam is Dahoam", who now speaks in riddles as a result of a lightning strike - Spiess gets the information about an important man in Walching am Weiher. When Spiess visits him, he introduces himself as Christoph Einödinger, head fan of "Dahoam is Dahoam". Cilli is also with Einödinger. Under the influence of Einödinger's self-brewed beer, Spiess first became very Bavarian, then passed out. Cilli takes Spiess to the Walchinger Weiher, where the two spend a night of love.
Episode 4: Important Sacha - now a macha
The television boss is dissatisfied with Spiess' investigation progress on the set of "Dahoam is Dahoam". Spiess notes that there is only irrelevant material on the USB stick. At a "meet and greet" with the stars of the series, Spiess' mom appears with two friends. She would like to pair the son with a contributor. Spiess is on the trail of the "Kinimänner", a secret society that wants to reintroduce the monarchy in Bavaria. Einödinger, the movie theater man's "big lion", gives Dachsbach, who is also part of the conspiracy, the task of eliminating Spiess.
Episode 5: Sharpen Veitl, scratch radii
Spiess almost escapes the attack by author Dachsbach. Cilli shows up and makes Spiess clear erotic offers. But that's just Cilli's pretext to explain what's really going on with "Dahoam is Dahoam": Einödinger observes the entire television village of Lansing via hidden cameras, he has put Cilli on a spit - and she has to obey because the moviegoers her father hold captive. There appear actors who take Cilli with them. But she still manages to pass the real USB stick with the explosive information to Spiess. While viewing, he realizes that the cinema men are using "Dahoam is Dahoam" for a devilish plan. But when he informs the television boss about this, he is given leave of absence. Spiess is right at the bottom - then the message reaches him that the cinema men have kidnapped Cilli.
Episode 6: Wiesn gmaht, ois is zspat
Determined to save Cilli, Spiess grapples with producer Kowalski. On Kowalski's motorcycle, the two drive to Munich to the Bavaria statue, in whose vaulted cellar is the headquarters of the cinema men conspiracy. There the true extent of their secret plan becomes apparent - and Dachsbach's very special role in it. Together with the inspector, who has also broken into the headquarters, Spiess does everything possible to thwart the monstrous plan. But this is a desperate race against time ...
