Alan Pulido (born March 8, 1991 in Ciudad Victoria , Tamaulipas ) is a Mexican football player . The striker has been under contract with the first division club Deportivo Guadalajara since August 2016 .

Life

Pulido began his professional career in the 2009/10 season with the UANL Tigres and made his first appearance in the first division on February 27, 2010 in a home game against Monarcas Morelia , which was lost 3-0. He scored his first goal in the Primera División in the 4-2 win against CF Pachuca on April 13, 2011. In Apertura 2011 he won his first league title with the Tigres and the club's third.

In January 2015, the Greek first division club Levadiakos signed the Mexican striker. In the summer of 2015 he went to Olympiacos Piraeus . He made his debut in January 2016 in the cup match against FC Chania . He scored the goal to make it 5-0 (final score 6-0). Pulido was Greek champion with Olympiacos Piraeus in his first season.

National team

With the Mexican U-20 selection , Pulido won the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which was held in Guatemala between March 28 and April 10, 2011 . The following year he won the prestigious Toulon tournament with the U-23 selection .

On his debut for the senior national team on January 29, 2014, Pulido marked after Oribe Peralta's opening goal in the 36th minute, the other three goals for the 4-0 win against South Korea . Also in his second international appearance in the friendly against the USA on April 2, 2014, he scored a goal to make it 2-2 in the 67th minute.

Kidnapping (2016)

On May 28, 2016, Pulido was abducted on home leave in his hometown Ciudad Victoria and freed again after a few hours.
