Albanians in Denmark

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Albanians in Denmark ( Albanian  Shqiptarët në Danimarkë , Danish Albanere i danmark ) represent an ethnic minority in Denmark as immigrants . No precise figures are available on the size of the Albanian diaspora in Denmark. The figures vary between 8,000 and 12,000 people. The Danish statistical authorities recorded 519 persons from Albania , 2738 persons from Kosovo  and 5,116 persons from North Macedonia on January 1, 2017 - these persons do not have to be ethnic Albanians .

The Albanian community in Denmark has long been very inconspicuous. The Albanian diaspora in the country only became aware of the country's Albanian diaspora when a young Albanian was killed.

Albanian migrants from Kosovo have founded the Radio Television Voice of Kosovo in Denmark (RTVZiK) in Denmark .
