Albarossa is a red wine that was bred in 1938 by Giovanni Dalmasso at the Istituto Sperimentale per la Viticoltura in Conegliano in the Veneto region .

Ampelographic varietal characteristics
- The shoot tip is open.
- The medium-sized leaves are five-lobed and slightly indented (see also the article leaf shape ).
- The pyramidal grape is shouldered, medium-sized and has dense berries. The oval berries are small and bluish-purple in color.
Ripeness: late, ripens about 30 days after the Gutedel
properties
