Albert Bolze

Albert Bolze (born January 13, 1834 in Bernburg (Saale) , † June 28, 1912 in Naumburg (Saale) ) was a Senate President at the Imperial Court.

Life

In 1850 , Michaelis Bolze came to Leipzig to study. When he arrived there, he was disappointed to find out that the reaction in Saxony had removed Mommsen from his position. He found the lectures of Marezolll, Hänels and Schilling uninteresting. He appreciated Albrecht's lectures . Because of his exam preparation, he didn't listen to Waechter . In 1853 he was sworn in to the rulers of Anhalt and entered the civil service as an auscultator. From 1857 he worked as a lawyer in Bernburg. In 1873 he was appointed senior judge in Dessau. In 1879 he was appointed to the imperial court. From 1897 until his retirement in 1906 he was Senate President of the First Civil Senate . He was a member of the Commission for the Commercial Code of 1897. He was considered an authority in the field of patent law.

In the electoral period from 1872 to 1878, Bolze was a member of the state parliament of the Duchy of Anhalt . He was elected in a by-election in the 1st constituency of the cities after Bernhard Hagelberg resigned from his seat. Bolze also resigned from his mandate. Friedrich Karl Elze was elected as his successor .
