Alberto Losada Alguacil (born February 28, 1982 in Sant Just Desvern near Barcelona ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Career

In 2007 Losada received a contract with the Spanish UCI ProTeam Caisse d'Epargne and moved to the Russian team Katusha for the 2011 season . For these teams he denied and finished all Grand Tours as a helper , but could not achieve any individual successes. His best placement was a third stage place on the twelfth stage of the Giro d'Italia 2012 after Lecco / Pian dei Resinelli .

After he no longer received a contract with Katusha for the 2018 season, he ended his career in road cycling and announced that he would set up a company in the field of cycling and in future he wanted to ride a “ high level marathon mountain bike ”.
