Albertshausen is a district of the Reichenberg market in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg .

location

The place is about ten kilometers south of Würzburg at an altitude of 296 m. ü. NHN and six kilometers west of the Main Triangle .

history

The place is surrounded all around by settlements of the Urnfield and Latène times , the underground remains of which are protected as ground monuments. Another ground monument is the moated castle formerly in the town center. Around 1800 the place consisted of about 40 courtyards and the manor house.

In 1978 the formerly independent community was completely incorporated into Reichenberg. The municipality had an area of ​​657 hectares in 1961 and had no other parts of the municipality.
