Albrecht Ernst von Schlieben

Albrecht Ernst Graf von Schlieben (born August 21, 1681 in Sanditten ; † August 11, 1753 in Königsberg ) was a Prussian Minister of State.

Life

Origin and family

Albrecht Ernst von Schlieben was a member of the Prussian Count von Schlieben at Alt-Haus Gerdauen . His parents were of August 9, 1718 Berlin in the hereditary Prussian count conditions raised , Prussian Jägermeister, Erbhauptmann to Gerdauen, North Castle , as well as hereditary lord on sand activities and Kling Beck , Georg Adam von Schlieben (1649-1720) and Eleonore Christine of Oelsen (1652 -1713). The Prussian State Minister Georg Christoph von Schlieben (1676–1748) and the Hesse-Kassler Major General Adam Friedrich von Schlieben (1677–1752) were his brothers. Albrecht Ernst married Anna von Creytzen (1685–1750), a daughter of Georg Friedrich von Creytzen (1639–1710) , in 1712 . The marriage resulted in two sons and two daughters.

Career

On February 15, 1728, Schlieben became Chancellor in the Kingdom of Prussia . He was also president of the tribunal and court, feudal director and head of the general church commission and of the Montis Pietatis (see: Monte di Pietà ).

He was hereditary lord of Klingbeck from 1722 onwards, also to a side in Prussia .
