Albrecht Feibel

Albrecht Feibel (born March 1, 1940 in Friedrichroda , Thuringia ; † October 30, 2011 in Ormesheim ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Feibel completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk after school . From 1965 he worked as a travel agent and started his own business in this branch in 1985. From 1986 to 1995 he was federal chairman of the ASR Federal Association of Medium-sized Travel Entrepreneurs. He was a member of the Association of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU) .

In 1965 he joined the CDU Saar . From 1982 to 1992 he was deputy state chairman. From 1990 to 1999 he was a member of the Saarland state parliament , where he worked in the fields of economic and transport policy.

Feibel was elected to the Bundestag via the Saarland state list and was a member of the German Bundestag from 1999 to 2005 . In 2008, until his death, Albrecht Feibel was treasurer of the CDU Saar.

He lived in Mandelbachtal .
