Albrecht von der Schulenburg

Friedrich Albrecht Graf von der Schulenburg (born July 13, 1801 in Halle (Saale) ; † May 5, 1869 in Lieberose , Lübben district ) was a registrar of the Lieberose rule and a member of the Prussian manor house .

Albrecht von der Schulenburg came from the extensive aristocratic family von der Schulenburg . He was the eldest son of the landlord of Lieberose Friedrich Ferdinand Bernhard Achaz Graf von der Schulenburg (1772–1847) and his wife Auguste Sophie Rosamunde ad Winkel (1770–1838) and had five siblings.

Schulenburg married Elisabeth Karoline von Münchow (1820–1890) in 1841. They had eight children together, including Dietrich von der Schulenburg .

Life

Albrecht von der Schulenburg attended the Brandenburg Knight Academy and studied forestry in Berlin from 1822 to 1825 . Schulenburg went into civil service and held various positions in the forest administration, most recently as chief forester in Liebenwerda . In 1847 he inherited the paternal rule of Lieberose, which entitled him to a seat in the gentlemen's curia of the United State Parliament . Because of this seat, the owner of the Lieberose estate received a hereditary seat of the Prussian mansion . Schulenburg occupied this seat from 1854 until his death in 1869.
