Aleksandar Panew ( Bulgarian Александър Панев ; born May 14, 1996 ) is a Bulgarian ice hockey player who has been playing for HK CSKA Sofia again since 2017 .

Career

Aleksandar Panew began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK Levski Sofia . He came to HK CSKA Sofia via HK Slawia Sofia , with whom he won the Bulgarian U16 championship in 2012. In the 2013/14 season he made his debut in the Bulgarian ice hockey league and won both the national championship and the cup competition with his club , but also played in the local U18 league, where he was the best scorer this season. After playing for SK Irbis-Skate in 2016/17 , with which he was again national champion, he returned to ZSKA.

International

In the youth field, Panew took part in the U18 World Championships in 2012 and 2014 and the U20 World Cup in 2014 in Division III.

Panew made his debut in the men's selection of his country at the 2014 World Cup , when the Bulgarians were promoted from Division III to Division II. In Division II he then played at the 2015 World Cup .
