Aleksandra Krystyna Natalli-Świat (born February 20, 1959 in Oborniki Śląskie , † April 10, 2010 in Smolensk , Russia ) was a Polish politician, economist and member of the V. and VI. Election term of the Polish Parliament, the Sejm .

Life

In 1982 Natalli-Świat finished her studies at the Faculty of Business Administration and Computer Science of the Akademia Ekonomiczna in Wroclaw . In 2004 she completed her management studies at the Wroclaw Bank School.

From 1982 to 1991 she worked as an assistant at the Polish statistical office Główny Urząd Statystyczny and at the Polish academy of science Polska Akademia Nauk . Then she was voivodship inspector at the Wroclaw Voivodeship Office. In 1992 Natalli-Świat was the deputy director of a "Training Center for State Administration Employees" ( Międzywojewódzki Ośrodek Doskonalenia Kadr Administracji Państwowej ). From 1996 to 2000 she worked as a senior specialist at the municipal authorities in Wrocław ( Urząd Miejski Wrocławia ). For the next four years she held a seat on the city board for transport companies. From 2004 she was vice-president of the board of the Wrocław Centrum SPA ( Wrocławskie Centrum SPA sp. Z oo ).

During her student days, Natalli-Świat worked for the independent student association Niezależne Zrzeszenie Studentów . In the 1990s she was a member of the Center Alliance ( Poruzumienie Centrum ). She then worked in the “Alliance of Polish Christian Democrats” ( Porozumienie Polskich Chrześcijańskich Demokratieów , PPChD ) and in the “Movement New Poland” ( SKL-Ruch Nowej Polski ) of the “Conservative People's Party” ( Stronnictwo Konserwatywno-Ludowe , SKL for short ). She later joined the Law and Justice Party ( Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ).

In 2005, Natalli-Świat was in the Polish parliamentary elections of the fifth electoral term on the list of the party “Law and Justice” ( Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ) and was elected a member of the Sejm in the constituency of Wroclaw. There she chaired the Public Finance Committee ( Komisja Finansów Publicznych ). In the parliamentary elections in 2007, where she received 21,999 votes, she won a parliamentary seat for the second time. On January 12, 2008, she was elected vice-chairman of Law and Justice.

On April 10, 2010, Aleksandra Natalli-Świat was part of a Polish delegation headed by President Lech Kaczyński , who was to travel to the memorial in Russia on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre . In a plane crash of the delegation near the Smolensk-Nord military airfield , however, she and other high-ranking representatives of Poland were killed.

Posthumously Natalli-Swiat was the Commander's Cross of the 16 April 2010 Order of Polonia Restituta (Krzyź Komandorski Orderu Rebirth of Poland) awarded.
