The left shooter spent the 2004/05 season at his ex-club HK Sibir Novosibirsk, which in the meantime had also been promoted to the Super League. The following season he began with his league rivals Vitjas Chekhov , but left the club after two goals and three assists in 28 games and returned to Novosibirsk. After Sibir had been accepted into the newly founded Continental Hockey League for the 2008/09 season , he started the season again in Novosibirsk, but moved after twelve missions to KHL league rivals Metallurg Novokuznetsk , for whom he played until 2011.
