Alexander Brochier

Alexander Brochier (* 1950 in Nuremberg ) is a partner in the family-run Brochier Group and founded a foundation for disadvantaged children in 1992 with five million Deutschmarks. In 1995, Alexander Brochier founded the House of Foundations in Munich . It offers special advice and services on all aspects of foundation work and looks after over 1,400 foundations with foundation assets of 430 million euros. With the support of the Haus des Stiftens, funds worth over 840 million euros have been made available for projects to date.

Career

Studied business administration in Freiburg im Breisgau , Bonn , Heidelberg and Innsbruck . The trigger for his foundation was a management seminar in which he was supposed to write a speech about how he would like to be remembered after his death. Together with Philipp Hof , he founded the Children's Fund Foundation in 1992 as an umbrella foundation for children's trusts. In 2001 the Kinderfonds Servicegesellschaft mbH became the Stiftungszentrum.de Servicegesellschaft mbH. After the death of his father in 2005, Alexander Brochier increased the basic assets of the Alexander Brochier Foundation to 5,000,000 euros with his inheritance. From 2007 to 2013 he was chairman of the Foundation Council of the Foundation Stifter für Stifter. He has been chairman of the board since May 2013. In 2011, the IT portal Stifter-help was the winner in the “365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas” competition.
