Alexander Dressel

Alexander Dressel (born August 23, 1971 in Berlin ) is a German chef .

Career

After training at Trescher's Black Forest Hotel in Titisee , Dressel went to Berlin in 1992 to see Heinz Beck in the Harlekin restaurant in the Hotel Esplanade and in 1994 followed Beck to Rome in the La Pergola restaurant . He then moved to Le Chesery to Gstaad and the Brückenkeller to Frank Buchholz to Frankfurt . He then switched to the Borchhardt restaurant in Berlin, followed by the Black Eagle in Kitzbühel . Then he went to Italy to the Grand Hotel, Rimini & Castello di Velona in Montalcino .

Since December 2003 he has been head chef at the Bayrisches Haus in Potsdam , where he was awarded a Michelin star for the Friedrich Wilhelm restaurant from 2005 . He has also been the hotel manager since February 2007.

He has been Germany's head of Jeunes Restaurateurs since 2013 .
