Alexander Drozdzynski
Alexander Drozdzynski , actually Aleksander Drożdżyński (* 1925 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki as Aleksander Kahane ; † February 17, 1981 in Düsseldorf ) was a Polish journalist and writer who was particularly concerned with Jewish humor .
Life
In 1940 he was deported to the Litzmannstadt ghetto . In 1944 he was imprisoned in Auschwitz , Buchenwald and Bergen-Belsen . From 1946 to 1949 he studied philosophy in Krakow and Breslau . He then worked as a publishing editor , journalist and writer. Due to the increased anti-Semitism during the March riots in 1968 , he emigrated to the Federal Republic of Germany.
