Alexander Folk

Alexander Folk (born May 30, 1946 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Folk began his film and television career in 1985 in an episode role as a police officer in the crime series TJ Hooker . This was not to be his last role as a police officer, because of his appearance he was repeatedly cast as a police officer or security guard . Folk made his feature film debut the following year alongside Gary Oldman in the biopic Sid & Nancy , where he played a bodyguard . He was subsequently seen in a number of successful Hollywood productions , but mostly in minor supporting roles. The German-speaking film audience should know him best from the Christmas classic Schöne Bescherung , here he plays the head of operations of the SWAT unit that storms the Griswolds' house towards the end of the film.

Folk was seen in his ending more than two decades career in 30 feature films and numerous episode roles in various television series, including the prime-time - soap Falcon Crest , the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air , the television film series Columbo , and crime series as New York Cops - NYPD Blue and Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten .
