Alexander Peer (born August 2, 1971 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian writer and journalist.

Life

Alexander Peer has been writing since he was 17. From 1991 to 1995 he studied German, philosophy and journalism in Vienna and has lived in this city since then. After completing his studies, he completed a course on media education at the Media Center of the City of Vienna from 1995 to 1997 .

Peer is a member of the Austrian PEN Club and the Salzburg authors' group . In addition to his work on publications, he also leads creative writing workshops at various educational institutions.
