Alexander Sergejewitsch Golowin ( Russian Александр Сергеевич Головин ; born March 26, 1983 ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with THK Tver in the Vysschaja Hockey League since July 2013 .
Career
Alexander Golovin began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK Awangard Omsk , for whose second team he was active from 1998 to 2002 in the third-rate Pervaya League . In the meantime, he spent most of the 2001/02 season at Mostowik Kurgan , for whose professional team he ran up in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. After the winger came to eight appearances for HK Awangard Omsk in the Superliga at the beginning of the 2002/03 season , he moved to HK Sibir Novosibirsk during the season . For the 2003/04 season he returned to Awangard Omsk, with whom he became Russian champion for the first time in his career , before he was again on the ice from 2004 to 2006 for HK Sibir Novosibirsk.
After a year and a half at Ak Bars Kazan , Golovin was again committed by Awangard Omsk during the 2007/08 season . With the HK Awangard he also started the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League , but left it after only three games and moved within the KHL to SKA Saint Petersburg , for which he scored two goals in 28 games by the end of the season scored and gave three assists. In the summer of 2009, the right-shooter signed a contract with Metallurg Novokuznetsk . At Metallurg, the Russian was finally able to prevail in the KHL and achieve 48 scorer points in 101 games before he was signed by HK Spartak Moscow in January 2011 . However , he returned to Metallurg Novokuznetsk for the 2011/12 season.
He started the 2012/13 season at HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk before he was signed by Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in November 2012 .
International
For Russia , Golovin took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2001 , where he and his team became world champions. He contributed to this success with two goals and three assists in six games.
